disable form action redirect when using curl to load a page

Could someone give me an idea on how not to redirect the page when using cUrl. I mean, i got this code:

$url = "http://somesite.com/submit.php?name=" . $email . "&email=" . $email;

$ch = curl_init();

curl_setopt($ch,CURLOPT_URL, $url);

curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, false);

$curl_output = curl_exec ($ch);

curl_close ($ch);

echo "Hello!";

What happens is that inside the submit.php there is a form that autosubmits using javascript. the submit.php does not continue since it will redirect to the form's action page.

What curl options should I add on the code to make submit.php continue without the form action taking over the page and run the rest of the code of submit.php ?

submit.php

<?php

$name = $_GET['name'];

$email = $_GET['email'];

?>

<form method="post" action="actionpage.php" name="myform">

....

</form>

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">

document.forms["icpsignup"].submit();

</script>

Comments

  1. add this to prevent redirects:

    curl_setopt ($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, false);

Slow Android emulator

I have a 2.67 GHz Celeron processor, 1.21 GB of RAM on a x86 Windows XP Professional machine. My understanding is that the Android emulator should start fairly quickly on such a machine, but for me it does not. I have followed all instructions in setting up the IDE, SDKs, JDKs and such and have had some success in staring the emulator quickly but is very particulary. How can I, if possible, fix this problem?
