How to get an Excel chart as image using Java?



I want to get an Excel chart and convert it to image. Is there any way to do that using Java, JXL, POI or any other Java library?

Why is this Javascript much *slower* than its jQuery equivalent?

I have a HTML list of about 500 items and a "filter" box above it.
